Librexpression is happy to welcome Marco de Angelis as new member of its Scientific Council. Eminent editorial cartoonist, illustrator, journalist and graphic designer, Marco was participating to the LECTORINFABULA festival #linf18, where he hold several conferences. Member of the LIBEX-2018-Competition’s jury, he animated a workshop on “how to read an image”, then was one of the three cartoonists with Doaa ElAdl and Tjeerd Toyaards to review and debate on the past political and social year in cartoons.

Editorial cartoonist, illustrator, professional journalist and graphic designer, he was born in Rome and from 1975 he publishes his cartoons in about 150 newspapers, such as Il Popolo, La Repubblica (newspapers he was editor of), Il Messaggero, Il Mattino, Panorama, Help! Travaso, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Courrier International, Le Monde, etc. The New York Times Syndicate distributes his cartoons all over the world. Member of Cartoon Movement and Cartooning for Peace. Illustrator of many books for the publishing houses Giunti, De Agostini, La Scuola, San Paolo, Lapis, ELI. Palma d’Oro at the Bordighera Salon in ’97, has received over 100 international awards. He has collaborated with RAI, Telemontecarlo and many companies and associations. He is a founder and editor-in-chief of the online monthly Buduàr (www.buduar.it) .
