Buduàr Special issue #5 – greetings

© Luca Bertoloti

We are still here for the fifth year to tidy up our mailbox full of good wishes and Santa Claus.
A pleasant and relaxing work that also allows us to regain energy and rearrange the ideas for this 2018 that will still see us to elaborate ideas and proposals to make our almanac, that can’t stop growing and be even more interesting.
What you are about to browse is a number that offers you a piece of Dino Aloi on the Christmas greetings from humorists and a mini gallery dedicated to Luca Bertolotti, author of the  cover in a red suit.
And then plentiful of postcards, in fact of best wishes. Because I have to stop calling these postcards. The postcards, the beautiful ones, elaborate, with the stamp, by now, are rare.
A question of costs, but I am afraid even of “modern convenience”.
Now emails and facebook are the masters. Making, in my opinion, everything more sterile and cold. Mass invoices and with little empathy.
But it is probably me who remains a tireless paper fetishist, although Buduàr is a digital product (but I confess a secret: I stamp and keep all the issues!). This number I want to dedicate to those who gave me the emotion of receiving an envelope with a nice greeting card. It is an emotion that remains, which remains closed in my beautiful collector, ready to expand every time I open it.
2017 was the year of the return of vinyl and the rediscovery of cassette tapes. In order not to get caught unprepared, I bought another postcard collector.
