The International Review of Satire and Humour, City of Trento, was created in 1979. It has always paid attention to ethically important subjects, to themes that are able to create emotions.
Among past editions some themes can be mentioned:
Of what race are you? (1989); The world seen with the eyes of the south (1991); Intolerance (1993); Cease the fire (1994); Don Quixote (2001); We want the Moon (2008); Slowness (2012); The book is dead. Long live the book! (2015)
The theme of the 26th review is : WOMAN: THE OTHER HALF OF THE SKY.
This choice stemmed from the universality of the topic;
* Because women’s rights are enshrined in our Constitution;
* Because the issue is ethically inseparable from the dignity of the individual;
* Because women one is the most numerous human presence on the Earth;
* Because the woman is still the Goddess Mother who gives life;
* Because this topic touches our hearts.
